Hi, it's me. Georgia, Actually.

I've spent a good part of my life learning how to build a life around a military one.

I've moved.

I've started over.

I've said goodbye to people and places I wasn't ready to leave.

I've know how to make a home in unfamiliar places and how to find pieces of myself again when life changes.

I've also learned something along the way:

You can love your life and still admit that parts of it are hard.

You can be proud of your service member and still be tired of the military.

You can love your family and still want something that's just yours.

You can be grateful for where you are and still miss where you've been.

And you can start over without starting from scratch.

That's what Georgia, Actually is about.

It's a place for the honest conversations about military spouse life, marriage, motherhood, home, friendships, finding yourself, and all the little things that make up a life.

I'm not here to tell you how to be the perfect military spouse.

I'm here to share what I've learned, what I'm still figuring out, and the things I wish someone had told me years ago.

Sometimes there will be advice.

Sometimes there will be a story.

Sometimes there will probably be a little complaining.

And hopefully, there will always be a reminder that you're not alone.

So pull up a chair.

Let's talk about the stuff that's actually happening.

Let's collab!
